Minister Barbara Simons, daughter of the late John and Mary Dawson. Graduate of Great Bridge High School, Chesapeake, Virginia. She is currently employed by IES Commercial Inc., Suffolk, Virginia.
She is the wife of Larry Simons and she has two sons; Telly (wife Sanita) and Christopher. She is the proud Grandmother of Tyler and Arielle. She has one sister; Gladys Wright (husband Jetson) and one brother Lawrence Dawson.
She was licensed as a minister of Covenant Fellowship Church under the Leadership of Dr. Kevin R. White on June 28, 2009 with the gift of Teaching. She currently serves as one of the Teachers for Morning Manna and has been teaching since the inception of Covenant Fellowship Church in 1998. She served as a Doorkeeper for over 30 years.
One of her favorite scriptures is Psalm 27.
