Valencia was born on January 11, 1960 in Chesapeake, Virginia to Earl Spellman (deceased) and Alberta Spellman-Gallop.  She is a 1978 graduate of Great Bridge High School, Chesapeake, Virginia.
Valencia was employed by the City of Chesapeake, Commissioner of the Revenue’s Office, where she was the Customer Service Supervisor of Personal Property.  She began working for the Commissioner’s Office in May of 1980 and on May 1, 2010 she retired with 30 years of dedicated service to pursue her first love of working for her church, Covenant Fellowship on a full-time basis as the Administrative Assistant. She held this position on a part-time basis under the leadership of Dr. Kevin R. White for the past 30 years.
Valencia loves her church and has been very instrumental in utilizing her knowledge and creativity to develop in-house programs which saved the ministry thousands of dollars. She has created, developed, composed and prints the churches directory, the tithing envelopes, the Yearly Ministry Calendar and the Anniversary Souvenir Journals.
Valencia has a passion for Kingdom work.  She is a member of the Covenant Fellowship Church Mass Choir, Praise Team and Music Council.  She is also a member of the Women’s Ministry Steering Committee. As she works for the Kingdom, she wants you to remember this, “To God be the Glory for all the great things that He has done”.
